I have a question.
The skin on the underside of my wrists ... seems to be thin, because I can see the veins and such, and it's somewhat disgusting [plus, someone pointed it out today, one of my guy friends =\]
and the same is on my chest, where I can see some of the veins, especially heading down to my breasts [I didnt have anything non-pg to call them]

How could i fix this?
Tanning, I dont think, really helped... but the tan really didnt even reach those areas anyways ... [I only tanned on the beach once when I was in spain]

Sorry, this isn't really a question about the japanese language itself.

I have been studying Japanese in college, I'm taking Japanese 2 right now so I know a good amount of phrases with hopes of reaching Japanese 4 and becoming pretty fluent. I want to practice my Japanese here but my computer can't read any hiragana, katakana or kanji, it's all showing up as question marks "????". I'm using firefox and I've tried character encoding on it but it's still not working. Do I have to download a japanese font or package or something, and if so which ones do you guys recommend? Thank you very much, I'm very desperate to be able to see japanese characters, it's been bugging me for years.

So I'm not too good with this kind of stuff...but I'm kinda facing a problem.
I'm a natural blonde and have always loved my hair color, but now that I'm older its slowly fading to an almost brown shade. I've been getting highlights since high school to kind of fight off the brunette. I was told by my hairdresser and my mom that I should just keep getting highlights since they take longer to grow out. My mom, for whatever reason, has instilled in me a fear of dying my hair. lol. Would it really be that much more of a hassle/more expensive to just dye my hair all one shade? I miss being blonde all over!
Also...how does one go about picking out the right shade of blonde? Thanks for any help!

When one person's natal Venus is conjunct one person's natal Saturn in one sign, and the other person's natal Venus is conjunct their natal Saturn in a complete (just by a chance), I know that this is some kind of a double-whammy for an aspect, but is a good or bad double-whammy? I'm also open to hearing about any other planets that are similarly aspected like this. I have a feeling that that's kind of odd -- maybe a like a one in a million chance or something.

This is her latest single, used as the opening song for Gunslinger Girl, and it's very classic KOKIA. たった1つの想い opens with just KOKIA singing and a building violin part that leads into the electric guitar and drums. The chorus has a driving beat that's a little understated (or maybe I'm just too used to turning up the bass) and the whole song is very upbeat. It has a sense of urgency too, like you're running around dodging bullets and generally being kickass while feeling slightly tragic. That's not even a song description, is it. The b-side is a slow ballad that's mostly just KOKIA's voice and a harp. Yes, that's right, harp. (Told you she's heavily influenced by Celtic music!) The flute on the bridge is light and haunting and I think the best way I can describe this song is a Japanese-Celtic fusion, a la KOKIA's normal ballads. It's a great single, and her voice is really unique - you should really try this out!
